With 15 years experience in session music, he has worked and toured the world playing to 50,000 strong crowds in Japan, appearing on the David Letterman show, and recording in some of the world’s top studios.
An accomplished Musical Director, Brian prides himself in getting the best out of any cast or musician, using their strengths combined with his holistic approach to bring their natural ability to the fore to make a slick, professional performance.
As a theatre practitioner, Brian has a wealth of skills in composing and producing music for a range of ensembles and performers, and as an exponent of devised theatre has a hands-on, in-the-room approach to his work. He has written for a many different theatre companies, arranging work for a 90 strong cast at the 250th Anniversary Celebrations of Bristol Old Vic. A multi-instrumentalist, he can play things with reeds, keys, strings and percussion. An advocate of contemporary music and sampling, multi-layered soundtrack sits comfortably with live instrumentation to bring performance to life. Brian composes using his Mac, Logic X and anything he can blow, pluck, strum, play or hit.
