In 2021 I received a Creative Freelancer grant from WECA (West of England Combined Authority). The aim of the project was to give me the opportunity to develop new work as an artist without the constraints of a brief, storyboard or script. I wanted to discover an independent way of working using sample based material and develop a non-conventional, understanding of composition to feed into my current practice. ‘Project Briman’ was born from a love of electronic music.
